LEADERSHIP
CELEBRATION
Seattle Pacific University's Office of Student Involvement and Leadership organizes an award ceremony at the end of each academic year. This ceremony recognizes students and faculty who have contributed outstanding leadership during the school year, and celebrates the work of student leaders.

I worked independently to create the visual design materials for the award ceremony, including the branding, the event invitation, the award certificates, the menus, complement cards for the award recipients, and a slide presentation.
Role:
Illustrator, and visual designer

Software Used:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign

Timeframe:
6 weeks
STEP ONE: THE INVITATION
My illustration for the invitation was inspired by two primary characteristics of leadership--growth and perseverance. To represent this, I created Art Nouveau-inspired floral sketches.
STEP TWO: AWARD CERTIFICATES
To design the award certificates, I re-iterated the imagery from the invitation design and created variations within the color palette. I then created a complement card for each award recipient, including a quote from their nomination. This card was given to the recipient along with the award certificate.
STEP THREE: THE MENU
After finalizing my illustration variations, I created a menu for the event's featured mocktails using the same illustrations and color palette.
STEP FOUR: EVENT PROGRAMS
I then organized the event agenda, presenter names, menu, and acknowledgments into a bi-fold booklet for each attendee's place setting.
