The student government office at Seattle Pacific University works to serve the student body. The student government, also titled Associated Students of Seattle Pacific (ASSP) provides student resources for the student body and works to create positive change on campus.

I worked independently to create a new brand identity for the student government office, including new brand colors, fonts, social media presence, and a new website.

Role:

Brand design, web design, marketing, advertisements, and social media.

Software Used:

Adobe Illustrator, Canva

Timeframe:

2 months

STEP ONE: THE BRAND

To create the new brand identity, I first explored their existing logo and the values of the association. ASSP works to reflect student voices and to be an inviting and welcoming resource for the student body. Based on these values, I wanted to reflect the broad range of ASSP's work and create a lively, friendly atmosphere that included school themes.

STEP TWO: THE WEBSITE

To design the website, I chose to incorporate school supply and office supply imagery to align with the university identity while also maintaining the brand colors and fonts.

STEP THREE: SOCIAL MEDIA

Each of the social media graphics also follows the branding kit. Each post strives to feel energetic, eye-catching, and welcoming.

STEP FOUR: THE NEWSLETTER

ASSP also publishes a monthly newsletter called Stall Talk. The newsletter is distributed each month and posted in the public restrooms on campus to advertise upcoming events.
